Here is my story
"Mum, theres a monster under my bed".
"Mum, Mum, Mum"! cried Billy
"What is it Billy"?
"Theres a monster under my bed"!
"No Billy, that is just your box of toys" said Mum.
"Phew"
"Go back to sleep Billy".
"Mum, Mum, Mum"
"What is it Billy"?
"Theres a monster outside my window"!
"No Billy, that is just a tree"
"Phew"
"Go back to sleep Billy".
"Mum, Mum, Mum"
"What is it Billy"?
"Theres a monster in my cupboard"
"No Billy, that is just your clothes"
"Go back to sleep"! Mum said again.
"Mum, Mum, Mum"
"What is it Billy"?
"Theres a monster in the doorway"
"No Billy, that is just Jasper"
"Phew"
"Go back to sleep"!
"Mum"!
"What is it this time Billy"?
"I just wanted to tell you that I love you"!
"Aw Billy I love you too"!
"Now go back to sleep you have school tomorrow".
Mum goes back to her bedroom and Billy finally falls asleep with a smile on his face. During the night all the friendly monsters come out to watch over him.
"Sweet dreams Billy" they whisper.
