I decided to create a Children's Cook Book for my Negotiated Project. This image is of a black cat who is just about to tip the bowl of pumpkin mixture all over the counter. Children may be attracted to this image because it is fun to look at and it has bright hues.
However, the disadvantages to this image are that acrylic paint is difficult to use because it dries quickly making it hard to create the same colour palette and that the characters eyes may need to be changed because they may scare children.
I also painted on ply wood which has quick a nice effect. I chose ply wood because acrylic paints seeped into paper making it blotchy to use.
Thanks for reading this post.
