We were asked to create a character for a younger child that goes on an adventure to a lighthouse. However, I decided to come up with a bunch of interesting characters. Here is my first character Carol the Crocodile.
It is known that a child will get more involved with a story if their is a character that they can relate to. This character might undergoes various situations and experiences emotions that the child reading the book has also felt themselves.
This is what makes a successful book for a younger underdeveloped child.
